Field Application Engineer (3D Printing)

Location: Remote in the UK&Ireland region, with preferred bases in London, Manchester, or Dublin and 80%+ travel to customer sites.

What you will do

• Install, commission, calibrate, and maintain 3D printing systems at customer sites.
• Deliver structured user training covering equipment operation, software, and basic maintenance.
• Conduct live product demonstrations for customer teams.
• Diagnose electromechanical issues and perform urgent break-fix repairs, targeting single-visit resolutions.
• Complete preventative maintenance visits within the 90-day target window for warrantied customers.
• Manage travel arrangements, submit expenses, and maintain installation, training, and repair records in Salesforce.

Requirements

• Based in the UK or Ireland, preferably London, Manchester, or Dublin for hub connectivity.
• Willingness to travel 80% or more of the time and respond to urgent customer needs on short notice.
• Strong electromechanical and hardware background.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and train customers.
• English proficiency at C1–C2 level.
• Valid category B driver’s license.
