Backend/Integration Test Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Bulgaria, Italy, or Romania; willingness to work from Milan 2–3 days per quarter is required.

What you will do

• Prepare and execute backend and integration test cases.
• Perform API testing, including file generation, event flows, and Bulk API round-trips.
• Test integrations between Salesforce and other backend systems, including SEDA, Elliot, and an AKS-based integration system.
• Prepare and maintain test data and support test environment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and investigate issues across integrated systems.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA engineers in a distributed team.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in backend, API, or integration testing.
• Experience preparing test cases, maintaining test data, and testing integration scenarios.
• Understanding of backend event flows, system integrations, QA processes, and testing methodologies.
• Experience testing Salesforce or similar enterprise platform integrations.
• Italian at B2+ level and good English communication skills.
• Willingness to work from Milan 2–3 days per quarter.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce integrations or Bulk API.
• Familiarity with SEDA and Elliot.
• Experience with AKS or other Kubernetes-based integration environments.
