Security Advisor I (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Assess customer Falcon environments against Falcon Complete standards.
• Provide security recommendations and remediation guidance to improve customer security posture.
• Contact customers about identified misalignments and guide them toward secure outcomes.
• Document, update, and resolve customer issues according to established procedures and SLAs.
• Prepare service reports and performance statistics for customers.
• Coordinate with internal support and CrowdStrike teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a cybersecurity-focused role.
• Customer empathy and strong verbal and written customer-facing communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Experience or demonstrated knowledge of threat detection and incident response.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology or cybersecurity, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Cybersecurity certifications from organizations such as SANS or ISC2, or equivalent credentials.

Nice to have

• Incident management, CSIRT operations, change management, and malicious-code detection and response.
• Experience with audit, logging, monitoring controls, SIEM, UEBA, MDR/XDR, or intrusion detection and response.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/2, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Critical Security Controls, PCI DSS, Cloud Controls Matrix, or MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience advising complex clients and working across multiple teams.
• Demonstrated experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
