Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET, Medical Imaging)

Location: Remote US / Remote Canada

Salary: US $150,000–$180,000 USD base salary plus bonus eligibility; Canada CAD $165,000–$200,000 plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain radiotherapy plan-checking features, including DICOM integration, image, dose, and plan visualization, DVH evaluation, and plan checks.
• Develop performant and reliable WPF desktop software using C# and .NET.
• Integrate with oncology information systems through DICOM networking and clinical interfaces.
• Collaborate with physicists and product leaders to translate clinical requirements into production software.
• Contribute to architecture, testing, code reviews, and technical decisions.
• Mentor teammates through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least five years of software development experience and a BS in Computer Science or a related field; an MS is preferred.
• Deep programming expertise in C#, C++, or Java, with strong C# application development skills.
• Full-stack experience across frontend and backend web and cloud systems, with a preference for frontend development.
• Experience with C#/.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Lit or equivalent technologies, and WPF.
• Database experience with MongoDB, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with clinical radiotherapy or imaging software, DICOM, HIPAA, medical device regulations, cybersecurity, and software risk management.

Nice to have

• MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working directly with clinical physicists and oncology information systems.
