Data Analyst Banking

hirify.global's Consulting – Polska Team is hiring for a banking data analysis role.

What you will do

• Integrate referential and external data sources into downstream systems while maintaining data quality and consistency.
• Implement first-level database controls and improve processes that support data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Analyze complex data transformations and computations used across firm systems.
• Provide autonomous support to data users and project teams, including investigation and resolution of complex requests.
• Identify data issues, assess impacts and risks, and propose solutions with Data Referential, IT, and Data Governance teams.
• Collaborate with service providers such as BlackRock and State Street, participate in governance meetings, and document deviations from standard operating models.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in finance, ideally asset management, including operational experience in data, IT, front, middle, or back office functions.
• Thorough understanding of operational processes and the needs of portfolio management, middle office, risk, quantitative, compliance, and financial control users.
• Hands-on experience with Aladdin or Adjuto.
• Ability to understand data inflows and outflows, technical architecture, and business transformations applied to data.
• Excellent written and verbal English for communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical, proactive, rigorous, and organized approach to control checks, discrepancy investigation, escalation, and operational risk mitigation.
