Senior IT Project Manager (Hadoop/Cloudera)

Location: Gdańsk or Gdynia, Poland; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office

Rate: up to 130 PLN per hour on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Lead a large-scale Big Data platform migration or vendor replacement project.
• Coordinate the vendor change and manage delivery activities, timelines, dependencies, resources, and risks.
• Plan the project budget and maintain financial forecasting.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify issues, escalate risks, and support predictable execution.
• Run project team meetings and promote disciplined delivery practices.
• Prepare progress updates and SteerCo reporting.

Requirements

• Previous experience leading a large-scale platform migration or vendor replacement project in the Hadoop/Cloudera domain.
• Strong risk and issue management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English and native Polish, both spoken and written.
• Experience with IT Project Management, Big Data, Hadoop, and Cloudera.
