What you will do

• Review loads, design, weight, and capability requirements for high lift system actuators.
• Gather and analyze in-service data.
• Identify potential cost drivers and perform value analysis.
• Assess adaptations related to slat skew regulations.
• Apply lessons learned from previous aircraft programs.
• Compare alternative approaches for specifying slat actuators.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time bachelor's student in mechanical engineering or business engineering.
• Fluent German and English.
• Knowledge of technical mechanics.
• Enrollment for a six-month bachelor's thesis plus a one-month internship.
• Basic knowledge of aerospace systems or flight control systems is desirable.
• Application documents: cover letter, CV, relevant transcripts, and enrollment certificate.
