Tech Lead of Operational Technology (OT/ICS Security)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; on-site. U.S. government export regulations require U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the necessary authorizations.

What you will do

• Build and own the end-to-end manufacturing security strategy and architecture.
• Secure OT/ICS environments across factories through network segmentation, industrial monitoring, identity and access controls, and asset security.
• Define security requirements for embedded systems and hardware, including secure boot, firmware signing, hardware roots of trust, and JTAG/UART lockdown.
• Assess and test factory environments across OT networks, firmware, hardware, and third-party manufacturing partners.
• Protect production environments against supply chain compromise, tampering, IP theft, insider threats, and cyber-physical attacks.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Security, and government and defense stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience across OT/ICS, embedded or product security, manufacturing, or supply chain security, including hands-on ownership.
• Deep knowledge of industrial environments, including PLCs, SCADA/DCS, HMIs, RTUs, and industrial protocols.
• Experience with IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82.
• Strong understanding of embedded, firmware, and hardware security.
• Ability to build a security program from the ground up and communicate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility requirements for U.S. government space technology.
