OT Engineer (Industrial Cyber Security)

Location: Hybrid roles based in Glasgow, Aberdeen, London or Billingham, United Kingdom; on-site visits to operational locations are required when needed.

What you will do

• Support OT and control system cyber security assessments and audits.
• Participate in onshore and offshore site visits, including technical inventory gathering.
• Create and interpret OT network topology diagrams and data flows.
• Implement baseline OT cyber security controls and configure security technologies within OT environments.
• Develop customer-facing processes, procedures, standards and policies aligned with industry practices.
• Collaborate with consultants, engineers and customer teams while preparing technical documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Experience with OT, control systems or industrial environments.
• Good understanding of networking, operating systems and basic security principles.
• Familiarity with industrial security standards and best practices.
• Working knowledge of process control systems and components, plus experience with security tools such as anti-malware and endpoint protection.
• Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, with MCSE, MCSA, CCNA or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Practical approach and willingness to work on-site when required; knowledge of OT and industrial site safety practices.
