Akvelon is looking for a Middle Strong DevOps Engineer to join our team and work on a large-scale IoT platform.
This is an office-based position for an engineer who enjoys working with cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment pipelines, and observability. You will be responsible for supporting and scaling cloud environments, improving infrastructure automation, and ensuring the reliability and performance of production systems.
✓ What we’re looking for
– Upper-Intermediate+ English
– 3+ years of experience in SRE / DevOps / Cloud Engineering
– Strong hands-on experience with AWS
– Solid knowledge of Terraform
– Experience with Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS
– Practical experience with Jenkins and/or GitLab CI
– Good understanding of Docker and containerized environments
– Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or Graylog
– Good Bash scripting skills; Python is a strong plus
– Understanding of networking, cloud security, and infrastructure best practices
– Familiarity with Java / TypeScript environments
✓ What you’ll do
– Participate in infrastructure and architecture improvements
– Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
– Design and maintain modular Terraform infrastructure
– Build, improve, and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI
– Work with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS
– Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
– Troubleshoot infrastructure and production issuesImprove system reliability, scalability, and performance
– Automate repetitive operational tasks using Bash and Python
– Collaborate with developers and other engineering teams to improve deployment and operational processes
✓Working conditions:
– Office-based work from the Kyiv office or the Chisinau office once it is established.
– B2B contract with benefits.
– Full-time with flexible working hours and required overlap for team meetings.
– Start: ASAP.
– Initial project duration: long-term
