Senior Java Fullstack Developer (Banking)

Location: Hybrid work from the Gdańsk or Warsaw office, with 75% remote work

Rate: Up to 150 PLN/h net on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve internet-facing Commercial Cards applications.
• Build microservices, REST APIs, and integrations using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Analyze and resolve application defects, incidents, production issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Support secure coding practices and improve application security through vulnerability remediation and security testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD delivery using Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Angular and Angular Material, plus good knowledge of Kafka and SQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of secure coding and OWASP principles, including experience resolving vulnerabilities found through SAST and container scans.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and Agile/Scrum collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, cards, or payments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, performance tuning, or application monitoring.
• Technical mentoring and coaching experience.
