Focus on building a 100–150-person leadership organization, managing complex relocation risks, and delivering scalable logistics operations for aviation customers.
Location: Guangzhou, China, with regular travel to and work from Beijing during and after the project period

What you will do
- Lead the expansion from the existing 3,500 sqm warehouse in Beijing to a new 17,000 sqm facility in Guangzhou.
- Own project management, operational ramp-up, and the complex warehouse relocation project during the first approximately two years.
- Lead warehousing and shipping operations, including a future 16/7/365 shift model and a team of approximately 100–150 employees.
- Manage operational performance, customer satisfaction, service quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with local authorities, global and local project teams, service providers, and cross-functional logistics teams.
- Drive risk management, safety, compliance, audits, contingency planning, and continuous improvement using lean methodologies.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of leadership experience in warehouse operations, planning, or strategy.
- Knowledge of people operations, materials and inventory management, warehouse processes, automation, and transport operations.
- Experience managing and motivating teams, with strong organizational, analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with office applications and SAP EWM/TMS.
- Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace aftermarket, aviation customer service, or after-sales operations.
- Project management certification such as PMI, PRINCE2, or IPMA.
