Tools & Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Manager (Matacán Air Base, Salamanca)

Location: Getafe Area; maintenance activities are performed at Matacán Air Base in Salamanca, Spain. Hybrid work is available when possible, with on-site activities required.

What you will do

• Analyze tooling, means, and ground support equipment requirements before each maintenance event.
• Manage internal tools and GSE/AGE assets, including calibration, inventory tracking, and shipment controls.
• Anticipate and resolve shortages of critical tools and equipment to minimize maintenance delays.
• Maintain daily and master planning reports and provide information for weekly progress meetings.
• Monitor and report KPIs related to operational efficiency and service levels.
• Provide initial engineering support and production control for local maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Approximately 4–5 years of experience in maintenance, MRO, engineering, production control, or tooling management.
• Knowledge of GSE and AGE management, tooling calibration standards, maintenance planning, and KPI monitoring.
• Advanced Spanish proficiency in written and spoken communication is required.
• Adaptability, problem-solving skills, hands-on initiative, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Availability for occasional national travel to Airbus facilities or client sites.

• Fluency in English.
• Experience supporting military platforms or C295 aircraft operations.
