Knowledge Management Consultant (LegalTech)

Location: UK remote; candidates must be current residents of the United Kingdom and authorised to work there for any employer.

hirify.global provides technology-enabled legal services and works with Fireman & Company’s legal industry-focused management consulting practice to improve the performance of law firms and corporations.

What you will do

• Develop knowledge management strategies, use cases, business cases, and multi-year implementation roadmaps with law firm stakeholders.
• Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and management of client knowledge management systems and solutions.
• Design classification schemas, taxonomies, metadata structures, governance models, and matter profiling processes.
• Advise on data architecture, data mapping, integration, import/export, validation, and quality improvement activities.
• Plan and lead UAT phases, create testing criteria, obtain stakeholder sign-off, and prepare release notes and end-user communications.
• Manage project plans, estimates, resources, deliverables, schedules, costs, and client relationships.

Requirements

• Background in or consulting experience for professional services; law firm experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of knowledge management vendors, solutions, functionality, technical architectures, and product roadmaps.
• Experience with multiple simultaneous projects, database design and management, data processing, profiling, root cause analysis, and quality improvement.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and adjust messaging to different audiences.
• Familiarity with document management systems, new matter intake, or enterprise search platforms is beneficial.
• Must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom for any employer and currently reside in the United Kingdom.
