Claims Coordinator (Medical Claims)

What you will do

• Respond to provider and member inquiries about claims by phone and email.
• Review, research, reprice, and resolve claims according to plan guidelines and pricing methodologies.
• Verify claim status, review plan specifications, and generate Explanation of Benefits statements.
• Manage the Claims inbox and follow up on requests in a timely manner.
• Document inquiries, complaints, actions taken, and claim-related records accurately.
• Provide administrative and office support while meeting daily claims productivity expectations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in administration, customer service, claims support, or a related office environment.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA and data privacy standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or related training is a plus.
