Senior SAP FI Consultant

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; in-person collaboration prioritized. The role requires up to 40% travel, with the requirements section indicating a minimum of 50% travel during rollout periods.

Salary: €3,000–€4,500 gross per month, with the possibility of a higher salary depending on experience and skills.

What you will do

• Deploy the global SAP template to regional locations and lead Fit-to-Template activities.
• Support data cleansing, mapping, validation, migration, and preparation of FI open items and master data.
• Execute functional testing and help key users identify, document, and resolve defects during SIT and UAT.
• Coordinate solutions across SAP streams, logistics, HCM, and related interfaces.
• Support cutover, go-live, migration validation, issue resolution, and Hypercare activities.
• Work with local key users, rollout teams, core experts, and offshore resources across multiple countries.

Requirements

• In-depth SAP Finance knowledge covering GL, New GL, Asset Accounting, AP, AR, controlling, closing processes, and fast close.
• At least three SAP Finance or Controlling implementations completed across the full lifecycle.
• At least three SAP S/4HANA Finance rollouts, including Fit-to-Template or Explore phases.
• Experience with standard SAP data migration tools for FI open items and master data.
• Strong accounting and controlling process understanding, communication skills, and assertiveness as a template defender.
• Willingness to travel at least 50%, including approximately 10–12 weeks during a 6–9-month rollout.
