Senior Bidding Producer (VFX)

Location: West Coast US or Australia; remote applicants may be considered if they can support global coverage. Preference is given to candidates aligned with US West Coast (PST) or Australia (AEST) time zones.

What you will do

• Analyze scripts, artwork, sequence turnovers, and client references to create detailed VFX breakdowns and bid proposals.
• Partner with Executive Producers, VFX Supervisors, CG Supervisors, and Head of Production on methodology, scope, schedules, and bidding strategies.
• Present bids to studio clients and discuss creative parameters, budgets, and schedules.
• Track script revisions, cut updates, and feedback to issue updated estimates and change orders.
• Maintain ShotGrid/Flow Production Tracking databases and pipeline records with accurate bid data.
• Facilitate hand-offs to VFX Producers, Executive Producers, and show supervisors while supporting global client coverage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a VFX Bidding Producer, Senior VFX Producer, or Bidding TD in a high-end visual effects facility.
• Comprehensive knowledge of photoreal VFX workflows, including 2D compositing, 3D asset creation, lighting, FX, DMP, tracking, and onset supervision.
• Proven experience building relationships with studio executives, directors, VFX supervisors, and producers.
• Advanced proficiency with ShotGrid/Flow Production Tracking, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and bid management software.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client presentation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Ability to support US West Coast or Australia time zone coverage is preferred; qualified remote applicants may be considered.
