District Trade Compliance Supervisor / Manager (Logistics)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary district-level resource for Trade Compliance and coordinate with regional and district compliance leadership.
• Manage the district Trade Compliance program, including training, monitoring, assessments, escalation, and employee guidance.
• Visit branches regularly to deliver training, assess personnel, and promote consistent compliance practices.
• Run and review import/export compliance reports, identify anomalies, monitor workflows, and implement corrective actions.
• Escalate and remediate non-compliance, communicating branch performance, risks, legislative changes, and findings to relevant managers.
• Support customer and sales meetings and review compliance commitments of high-risk service providers.

Requirements

• Passion for Trade Compliance and demonstrated understanding of applicable trade laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in English and one local language spoken in the district.
• Knowledge of sanctioned and embargoed countries, denied-party screening, export controls, and applicable U.S. and international sanctions.
• Familiarity with GCI, CFIT, EDMS, ETMS, and relevant third-party transaction systems.
• No impediment to travel to branches within the district.
• Passing IATA/FIATA examination, DG certification, applicable security protocol training, relevant product or service certifications, and a customs broker or comparable local license where available.
