Export Compliance

Location: Remote - California; preferred candidate must be based in California or on the West Coast

Salary: $71,776–$119,626 annually, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus.

What you will do

• Prepare export license applications, including TAAs, MLAs, DSP-5, and SNAP-R submissions.
• Support U.S. facilities with the U.S. Customs ACE Portal and review international exports from North American sites.
• Conduct export compliance investigations, watch-list screening, and non-compliance reviews.
• Draft export classification requests, including Commodity Jurisdiction and CCATS submissions.
• Develop technology control plans, review foreign travel and visitor requests, and manage export-related contractual terms.
• Partner with programs, contracts, engineering, supply chain, logistics, HR, and global sites to identify and correct compliance gaps.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a business discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with an ITAR-registered defense contractor.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Empowered Official under 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
• In-depth knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC, Census regulations, and USC&BP HTSUS codes.
• Strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents.
