Field Reimbursement Manager, Neuroscience (Patient Engagement & Customer Solutions)

Location: Chicago, Peoria, Rockford, or Springfield, Illinois, United States; permanent residence in the listed territory required. Field-based role with up to 50% of time onsite with healthcare providers and up to 75% travel.

Salary: $102,000–$177,100 base pay annually.

What you will do

• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims, coding, payer procedures, and access requirements.
• Provide field-based reimbursement, fulfillment, and access support for neuroscience therapies.
• Resolve patient access and affordability barriers by analyzing account data and payer requirements.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare providers and manage territory logistics, routing, and account planning.
• Collaborate with sales, account management, managed care, marketing, medical science, compliance, and PECS stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of payer policies, coverage, coding, payment, hub services, and specialty distribution channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in account management or reimbursement within provider offices.
• Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals.
• Experience with patient support HUB services, complex data analysis, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.
• Valid US driver’s license, compliant driving record, and permanent residence in the listed Illinois territory required.

Nice to have

• Neuroscience disease-state experience.
• Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and pharmaceutical reimbursement.
• Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, and emerging technologies such as AI.
