Field Reimbursement Manager (Neuroscience)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; territory includes Los Angeles, Pasadena, Anaheim, and Long Beach. Permanent residence in the listed territory is required. The role is field-based, involves up to 50% on-site time with healthcare providers, and requires travel up to 75%.

Salary: $102,000–$177,100 base pay annually.

What you will do

• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, coding, coverage, and payer requirements.
• Provide field-based access, fulfillment, reimbursement, and affordability support for neuroscience therapies.
• Analyze data and account dynamics to identify and resolve patient access barriers.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and cross-functional J&J teams.
• Build customer relationships, manage territory routing and account planning, and maintain knowledge of payer and market dynamics.
• Support compliant access discussions and complete required activities in accordance with legal, ethical, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with account management or reimbursement in provider office settings.
• Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals.
• Experience with patient support HUB services, strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid US driver’s license, compliant driving record, and permanent residence in the listed Los Angeles-area territory are required.

Nice to have

• Neuroscience disease-state experience.
• Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and payer reimbursement policies.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
