Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States territory; coverage includes Philadelphia, Trenton, Wilmington, and Wilkes Barre. The role requires permanent residence in the listed territory, up to 50% on-site time with healthcare providers, and travel up to 75%.
Salary: $102,000–$177,100 base pay annually.

What you will do
- Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims, coding, payer procedures, and access requirements.
- Serve as the field reimbursement and patient-access expert for local sales and account teams.
- Resolve access, fulfillment, affordability, prior authorization, billing, and appeals challenges.
- Analyze account and payer data to identify barriers and develop timely solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with assigned accounts and manage territory routing, logistics, and business planning.
- Collaborate with managed care, marketing, sales, medical science, compliance, and patient-support teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
- Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals.
- Experience with patient-support HUB services and the ability to collaborate and influence across a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal communication, and follow-through skills.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license, compliant driving record, and permanent residence in the listed territory are required.
Nice to have
- Neuroscience disease-state experience.
- Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and pharmaceutical reimbursement policy.
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
