Location: Permanent residence required in the listed U.S. territory covering Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Akron, OH; and Erie, PA. Field-based role with up to 50% on-site time with healthcare providers and up to 75% travel.

Salary: $102,000–$177,100 base pay per year

What you will do

  • Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submission, coding, payer requirements, and access procedures.
  • Provide field-based support for patient access, fulfillment, reimbursement, and affordability issues.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J departments.
  • Analyze account and payer data to identify access barriers and develop timely solutions.
  • Build customer relationships, manage territory logistics and routing, and plan account activities.
  • Maintain expertise in coverage, coding, payment, hub services, and specialty distribution channels while following compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or public administration.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
  • Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals processes.
  • Experience working with patient support hub services and building relationships in provider offices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license, compliant driving record, and permanent residence in the listed territory are required.

Nice to have

  • Neuroscience disease-state experience.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and payer reimbursement policy.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
