Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States; territory includes San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi, and Waco. The role requires permanent residence in the listed territory, up to 50% on-site time with healthcare providers, and travel up to 75%.

What you will do
- Educate healthcare providers and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submission, coding, coverage, and payer requirements.
- Serve as the field expert on patient access, fulfillment, reimbursement, and affordability for Neuroscience therapies.
- Identify and resolve access barriers by analyzing account data, payer policies, and patient support needs.
- Collaborate with sales, key account management, managed care, marketing, medical science, and other internal functions.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
- Operate in accordance with legal, ethical, compliance, and field engagement requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare or business/public administration.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in account management, reimbursement, managed care, or provider-office operations.
- Expertise in pharmacy and medical benefits, buy-and-bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, office operations, and appeals.
- Experience with patient support HUB services and the ability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, collaboration, influence, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid United States driver’s license and permanent residence in the listed territory are required.
Nice to have
- Neuroscience disease-state experience.
- Advanced degree or certifications in prior authorization, billing, or coding.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private payer initiatives, and payer reimbursement policies.
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
