Middle Office Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own daily reconciliations of client positions, cash balances, and Prime Broker accounts.
• Administer MT4, MT5, and proprietary trading platforms, including back-office configuration, trading server settings, and rebate processing.
• Monitor platform health, investigate trading and reconciliation discrepancies, and escalate complex issues with clear documentation.
• Maintain accurate records, internal controls, and regulatory compliance across assigned processes.
• Coordinate operational queries with Trading, Sales, Client Services, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology.
• Propose automation and workflow improvements for repetitive manual processes.

Requirements

• Employment eligibility in Malaysia with the required rights and documentation.
• 1–2 years of experience in middle office, trading operations, or brokerage operations; finance graduates with relevant markets exposure are also considered.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and reconciliation workbooks.
• Working knowledge of trading fundamentals, including positions, P&L, and client accounts.
• Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to document discrepancies precisely.
• Ability to work independently, investigate problems thoroughly, and coordinate with global teams across time zones.

Nice to have

• MT4 or MT5 Manager or Administrator access experience.
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, or Python for data work.
