What you will do
- Review claims and supporting documents to identify third-party liability and subrogation opportunities.
- Interview customers and third parties, establish liability, and seek recovery of eligible payments.
- Compile and raise subrogation claims, monitor outstanding recovery requests, and ensure timely resolution.
- Record and reconcile recovered amounts accurately.
- Perform data-mining to identify potential subrogation cases and raise awareness of relevant schemes with Payment Integrity and other teams.
- Analyze and improve operational processes while protecting customers from unnecessary negative impacts.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience at Cigna Healthcare in Claims, Customer Service, or Payment Integrity.
- Knowledge of at least one claims administration platform, such as Mainframe, Diamond, Actisure, or Globalcare.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or Health Cloud case management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, stakeholder-management experience, and fluent English.
- Critical thinking, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Ability to understand regulatory and legal contexts and work effectively with global teams across varying time zones.
Nice to have
- Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools.
- Fluency in additional foreign languages.
