Director - US Reimbursement

Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, United States. The role includes approximately 30–50% travel for field visits, customer engagements, national meetings, and cross-functional business meetings.

What you will do

• Translate payer and market access strategies into actionable reimbursement and patient access initiatives for field teams and customers.
• Identify reimbursement trends, payer challenges, and systemic access barriers, then develop scalable solutions across regions and customer segments.
• Partner with Field Reimbursement Managers, Market Access, Patient Services, National Accounts, Specialty Pharmacy, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
• Develop account-level reimbursement strategies for health systems, specialty pharmacies, centers of excellence, academic institutions, and community providers.
• Analyze payer, reimbursement, and patient access data; communicate insights and monitor performance indicators for leadership.
• Support product launches, indication expansions, governance forums, and strategic planning focused on patient access.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA, MHA, MPH, PharmD, or related advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharmacy, healthcare, market access, or related environments.
• At least 5 years of experience in reimbursement, patient access, field reimbursement, market access, or related functions.
• Experience with commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and specialty pharmacy reimbursement models.
• Advanced knowledge of prior authorizations, appeals, reauthorizations, benefit investigations, specialty pharmacy distribution, coverage pathways, and payer policy implementation.
• Experience with specialty, rare disease, biologic, or complex therapeutic products is preferred; PACS certification is preferred.

• Advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, public health, pharmacy, or a related field.
• Leadership, coaching, or project management experience.
• Experience supporting specialty or rare disease therapies.
