Field Reimbursement Manager (Rare Blood Disorders)

Location: Remote within the United States; must reside in the Florida territory. The role requires approximately 50–60% travel within the assigned geography and travel to meetings, trainings, and programs.

What you will do

• Provide reimbursement and patient access support for hirify.global rare blood disorder and hemophilia products.
• Educate healthcare providers, hemophilia treatment centers, and office personnel on benefits investigations, prior authorizations, denial appeals, billing, coding, and medical and pharmacy benefits.
• Support patient affordability offerings, alternative funding options, and patient support programs.
• Monitor commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid coverage, coding, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, and utilization management requirements.
• Resolve payer coverage barriers and coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and program vendors.
• Execute business plans and reimbursement strategies across the assigned Florida geography while following company, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required, preferably in life science or business.
• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry.
• 4+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech specialty pharmacy reimbursement or access experience.
• Experience coordinating patient and provider support services in a specialty pharmacy setting.
• Must reside within the Florida territory and hold a valid driver's license.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and matrix-environment skills.

Nice to have

• MBA, hemophilia experience, or experience launching hemophilia or complex specialty products.
• Field Reimbursement Manager and specialty pharmacy reimbursement experience.
• Experience supporting self-infused products and understanding their impact on patient access.
