Division Land Acquisition Manager (Real Estate)

Location: Schaumburg, Illinois, United States; overnight travel may be required.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead land acquisition activities and manage assigned acquisition transactions.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop Land Acquisition Analysts, Senior Analysts, and Land Acquisition Managers.
• Review acquisition analyses, due diligence findings, and transaction recommendations.
• Negotiate and secure land transactions while ensuring compliance with company approval requirements.
• Coordinate acquisitions with land development, finance, operations, legal, and executive leadership.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, acquisition metrics, market conditions, and pipeline performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in land acquisition, development, real estate, or homebuilding.
• At least 2 years of leadership or project leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to develop talent, maintain accountability, and build productive cross-functional partnerships.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to sit for most of an 8-hour workday and perform the stated physical requirements of the role.
