Associate Scientist - In Vivo Pharmacology (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Design, conduct, analyze, and report in vivo and in vitro pharmacology studies.
• Perform tumor inoculation and measurement, oral, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal, and intravenous dosing, blood and tissue collection, and model development.
• Conduct cellular assays, including multiparametric flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, keep accurate records, and analyze study data.
• Present findings and participate in cross-departmental research teams and meetings.

Requirements

• Master’s degree plus 1 year of in vivo pharmacology and laboratory experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry, bioengineering, biology, cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, or a related field.
• Experience with preclinical cancer models, drug administration through multiple routes, and blood and tissue collection.
• Experience with in vivo bioluminescence imaging, molecular and cellular assays, and ex vivo biological techniques.
• Experience with flow cytometry and multiparametric analysis, preferably using five or more colors.
• Computer proficiency, including GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and scientific software.

• Previous drug discovery experience.
