Staff GMP Statistician (Biotechnology)

Location: Troy, New York, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $103,300–$197,500 annually

What you will do

• Lead strategic statistical deployment initiatives and operate autonomously in a cross-functional environment.
• Apply Bayesian, kinetic, predictive, simulation, forecasting, and other advanced statistical methods to manufacturing and quality data.
• Build, validate, and maintain automation frameworks for statistical analyses and reporting in a GxP environment.
• Drive root cause analysis, early signal detection, proactive risk management, and continuous process improvement.
• Translate complex statistical findings into actionable narratives and data stories for executive audiences.
• Mentor colleagues and may manage direct reports.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 9+ years of relevant experience for the Staff level; level depends on qualifications.
• Advanced proficiency with statistical software such as JMP, Minitab, R, or SAS.
• Expertise in multivariate regression, design of experiments, difference and equivalency testing, and control charts.
• Experience with coding, statistical automation, and dashboard reporting workflows.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentations for executive audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks in a GxP environment.
