What you will do

• Define and own the use of statistical methods across the product life cycle.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to support roadmap, business, risk, and customer decisions.
• Design, implement, and analyze experiments, including design of experiments, for product, process, and equipment development.
• Develop statistical models for manufacturing, process capability, measurement repeatability, equipment matching, performance, and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis, validate critical analyses, and create dashboards and software analytics for manufacturing and field-performance indicators.
• Advise cross-functional teams, lead customer-escalation problem solving, and communicate statistical conclusions to technical and executive audiences.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 5 years of experience in statistics or a closely related role; 8+ years preferred.
• Expertise with statistical software such as JMP, Minitab, SPSS, R, or SAS; scripting and programming experience is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of experimental design, regression analysis, multivariate analysis, and process control.
• Experience analyzing both large and complex datasets and smaller datasets for actionable insights.
• Strong training, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
