Shift Electrician (Industrial Manufacturing): Maintaining and repairing electrical systems and steel-processing equipment at the Port Kembla manufacturing facility with an accent on PLCs, drives, cranes, and safe industrial operations. Focus on diagnosing electrical faults, performing emergency repairs, developing isolation instructions, and improving equipment reliability across a rotating 24x7 roster.
Location: Port Kembla, NSW, Australia. Onsite shift role on a 4:4, 12-hour, 24x7 rotating roster covering day and night shifts from Monday to Sunday.

What you will do
- Follow safe systems of work and prepare isolation instructions and job safety analyses.
- Perform safe and efficient emergency electrical repairs.
- Fault-find on electrical equipment, PLCs, drive systems, steel-processing equipment, and cranes.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to support quality, reliability, and safe operations.
- Identify improvement opportunities and report maintenance findings.
Requirements
- Electrical trade qualifications.
- Current NSW Electrical Licence required.
- Experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficient experience with PLCs and electrical drives.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Experience in fault-finding, problem-solving, and equipment repairs.
