Senior Operator - Kalgoorlie

What you will do

• Operate and maintain the Kalgoorlie fuel terminal with overall responsibility for safe operations.
• Receive, handle, store, transfer, sample, and test fuel products.
• Perform valve, transfer, gantry, hot oil, interceptor, and stormwater operations.
• Coordinate shipping, bunkering, and rail and tanker loading and unloading.
• Raise maintenance notifications and manage work clearances, gas testing, permits, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Support emergency response, incident control, HSSE assurance, stock reporting, audits, housekeeping, and driver compliance checks.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude.
• Strong commitment to HSSE and confidence to speak up about safety concerns.
• Mechanical aptitude, dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and hold a forklift licence; training is provided.
• Operational or manufacturing experience, preferably in a dangerous goods environment.
