What you will do
- Support the design of automotive power supplies, including specifications, design calculations, schematic capture, board layout, component selection, testing, and characterization.
- Perform applications-level characterization of new IC products.
- Evaluate low- and high-voltage power electronic components.
- Provide design support and technical advice to customers.
- Create technical documentation such as application notes and datasheets.
- Collaborate with business development, marketing, ASIC development, operations, quality, and related automotive and industrial engineering groups.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Good understanding of power electronics or basic electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including technical report writing.
- Very good command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, learn continuously, stay organized, and perform under pressure.
- Willingness to travel to support customers.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with flyback, buck, or boost switch-mode power converters and experience designing them.
- Experience with board-level analog or mixed-signal electronics design, implementation, testing, and characterization.
