Obstetric Behavioral Health Nurse - Weekend Evening Shift (Fri-Sun, 5p-1a ET)

Location: Remote within the continental United States; residence in a nursing compact state is required. Weekend evening shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. ET.

Salary: $46,800-$49,800 base annually.

What you will do

• Conduct initial patient risk assessments and triage based on the urgency and severity of mental health conditions.
• Complete crisis consultations and coordinate perinatal behavioral health care.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans for pregnant and postpartum patients.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about perinatal mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, advanced practice providers, nurses, care coordinators, and therapists.
• Advocate for patient autonomy, dignity, and patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with an unrestricted multi-state compact license and residence in a nursing compact state.
• At least four years of experience in a hospital or healthcare practice serving maternal-child health populations.
• Experience or advanced training in psychiatric nursing, perinatal mental health, or a related field.
• Experience working with pregnant and postpartum individuals and their families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Reliable internet connection and equipment for remote work by video, phone, and text; availability for holiday coverage and occasional travel.

Nice to have

• Perinatal Mental Health Certification.
• Experience in case management, care navigation, or virtual care.
• Experience providing care in Spanish.
