Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Orlando, Florida, United States

Salary: $111,900–$150,000 per year, plus potential bonus, long-term incentive units, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build reliable, scalable, low-latency, and well-documented software using sophisticated algorithms.
• Design reusable and performant solutions with engineers, product owners, and business partners.
• Develop proof of concepts and evaluate relevant technologies.
• Analyze and resolve issues independently across lower and production environments.
• Write unit and component tests and improve application quality.
• Monitor production systems, improve run quality, and participate in a Scrum team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of software engineering, analysis, design, and full software development lifecycle experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Java, Spring Framework, complex SQL queries, SQL databases, MongoDB, distributed applications, and web services.
• Experience with microservices, Internet technologies, cloud-native applications, preferably AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, Splunk SPL, AppDynamics, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana monitoring tools.
• Exposure to GraphQL and graph databases, with strong analytical and object-oriented programming skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with commerce products and pricing or inventory domains.
