Pricing Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Kazakhstan; fully remote from a home office. Flexible schedule aligned with CET.

What you will do

• Analyze CAD models, 3D models, technical drawings, and RFQs for quoting and manufacturability.
• Calculate costs for materials, machining hours, post-processing, and other manufacturing operations.
• Recommend suitable manufacturing processes and provide DFM feedback.
• Document and transfer calculations to the Sales and Commercial teams.
• Organize RFQs, clarify technical details with Sales and Engineering, and maintain quote databases.
• Deliver accurate quotes within 1–2 working hours and support process automation and workflow optimization.

Requirements

• Higher technical education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering.
• Expertise in turning, milling, CNC machining, EDM, laser, waterjet and plasma cutting, sheet metal processing, grinding, and welding.
• Knowledge of post-processing methods, including polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, blasting, coatings, and painting.
• Knowledge of metals, plastics, composites, and their processing properties.
• English at B2+ level, customer-oriented communication, attention to detail, and ability to work under time pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience with tooling and fixture design for machining, assembly, and welding.
• CAM programming for CNC using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or CypCut.
• Readiness to develop further CAM programming skills.
