Senior Zscaler Engineer (Zscaler)

Location: Remote within the United States, with coverage of Eastern and Central US time zones

What you will do

• Design, configure, administer, and optimize enterprise Zscaler environments across ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler for Workloads, and ZDX.
• Build and maintain security, access, and traffic policies.
• Design and manage disaster recovery for ZIA and ZPA, identifying failure points before they affect operations.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent, hands-on Zscaler engineering experience.
• Demonstrable expertise with ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler for Workloads, and ZDX.
• Proven ZIA/ZPA disaster recovery experience and a current Zscaler certification.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise networking and security issues independently.
• Strong communication skills for client-facing technical engagement.
• Ability to cover Eastern and Central US time zones.

Nice to have

• Zscaler Digital Transformation Engineer certification.
• Experience with Zscaler Branch Connectors.
• Experience in large enterprise Zscaler deployments.
