Detection Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the USA only; listed locations include Bellevue, Washington; Washington, D.C.; Georgia; New York; North Carolina; Texas; Washington; San Jose, California; and Santa Clara, California.

Base salary: $96,600–$138,000 USD per year, excluding bonus, equity, commission, and benefits.

What you will do

• Analyze EDR telemetry, alerts, and log sources across Endpoint, Identity, Network, Cloud, and SaaS detection domains.
• Identify and publish threats for Managed Detection and Response customers.
• Write concise communications covering key indicators and remediation context.
• Improve Detection Operations workflows through orchestration and automation.
• Manage high volumes of telemetry while delivering high-fidelity threat analysis.

Requirements

• Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and experience integrating new technologies into daily workflows.
• Strong Endpoint Detection and Response experience.
• Experience in at least one additional detection area, including Cloud/SaaS, Identity, Email, or Network.
• Expertise with query languages and syntax used in EDR or security platforms, such as SQL or Lucene.
• Must be able to work remotely from the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI-driven tools or automated workflows to threat detection and security engineering.
• Professional Red Team or offensive security experience.
• Infosec community involvement through blogs, webinars, or conference presentations.
