Junior Innovation Project Manager (Food Innovation)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Annual base salary: €40,000–€50,000, depending on experience, skills, and business needs.

What you will do

• Support and progressively own selected EMEA innovation and renovation projects from approved concept through commercialization and launch.
• Translate project objectives into plans, timelines, milestones, actions, and structured project updates.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution across R&D, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
• Organize project meetings, track responsibilities, and escalate risks, delays, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Coordinate product trials, validations, commercialization activities, and launch readiness.
• Maintain project documentation, milestone trackers, risk and issue logs, and stage-gate processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in food, FMCG/CPG, innovation, NPD, commercialization, or project management; relevant internship or graduate experience may be considered.
• Exposure to coordinating cross-functional projects or workstreams.
• Understanding of product development or commercialization processes.
• Structured, organized, proactive, and execution-focused approach with strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems pragmatically, and take increasing ownership of projects.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Experience with project planning and standard business tools.
