Electronics Lab Technician

Location: Hybrid role in London, UK; applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be able to obtain UK SC Clearance.

Base salary: £27,900–£39,000 per year, plus bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Assemble products, fabricate cables, and perform testing under engineer guidance.
• Work closely with Hardware, Production, and Lab Management teams.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient test and development lab.
• Support goods receipt, inventory booking, and appropriate stock storage.
• Follow documented production processes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience using mechanical hand tools for electro-mechanical assemblies and cables.
• Experience using basic electronic test equipment, including digital multimeters and oscilloscopes, in production testing.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems for executing test scripts.
• High attention to detail when following technical procedures and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to obtain UK SC Clearance and the right to work in the UK.
• Strong collaboration, communication, adaptability, and composure under pressure.

Nice to have

• Ability to solder or rework fine-pitched SMD devices.
• Knowledge of IPC rework standards.
