SEO & AEO Manager, High Value Senders (Contract)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; hybrid work with onsite attendance required Tuesday through Thursday each week

What you will do

• Own organic acquisition growth for high-value senders across search engine and answer engine discovery surfaces.
• Execute and refine SEO and AEO strategy with product, content, analytics, engineering, and product marketing partners.
• Conduct keyword, prompt, and competitor research and develop new programmatic, templated, and editorial content surfaces.
• Monitor rankings, answer engine visibility, and customer outcomes; report insights and forecasts to leadership.
• Consult on site structure and URL architecture for content expansion.
• Coordinate link acquisition, affiliate and comparison-site relationships, Reddit activity, and digital PR to improve off-site visibility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SEO experience, including ownership of an organic acquisition target for a consumer web product.
• Track record of moving competitive commercial and transactional keywords into top-three positions and analyzing the drivers of performance.
• Experience building programmatic, templated, and editorial landing pages at scale and specifying and shipping them with engineering.
• Hands-on experience with answer engine optimization, AI search surfaces, and influencing third-party citations and product descriptions.
• Off-page experience with link acquisition, affiliate and comparison-site relationships, and digital PR.
• Daily practical use of AI tools for content production, analytics analysis, and recurring organic-growth work; fluency with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Accuranker or another rank-tracking tool, Profound or another answer-engine insights tool, and a product analytics platform.
