Principal Biostatistician (Biotechnology)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid work is available up to two days remotely per week, or the role can be performed on-site five days per week.

Base salary: $152,000–$228,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Conduct advanced statistical work for multiple clinical trials, observational studies, and real-world data investigations.
• Design and execute statistical infrastructure, study methods, sample size estimates, and randomization plans.
• Author Statistical Analysis Plans, including table, figure, and listing shells, as well as cross-functional data review and dissemination plans.
• Represent Biostatistics on clinical trial teams and provide technical guidance to clinical and non-statistical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with statistical programmers to deliver high-quality tables, figures, and listings on schedule.
• Contribute to clinical study reports, regulatory and payer interactions, publications, posters, and methodological reviews.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics with typically 3 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with typically 6 years of experience, or an equivalent combination.
• In-depth experience with SAS and R statistical software.
• Advanced understanding of statistical methods used in drug development.
• Critical thinking and logical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
