Lean Management Specialist

What you will do

• Plan and implement the Lean Manufacturing system in the gene synthesis and production department.
• Apply lean tools including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Operating Procedures across laboratory and production processes.
• Analyze bottlenecks and waste, and lead projects to reduce turnaround time, improve OEE, and lower costs.
• Drive process standardization, modularization, and automation optimization while tracking improvement results.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, supply chain, and other teams on process design, lean optimization, and new product or process introductions.
• Provide operational support through claims administration, workforce and timesheet consolidation, documentation management, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Data analysis skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and related software.
• Strong problem analysis, problem-solving, planning, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Result-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Good Chinese and English communication skills are required for cross-regional collaboration.
• Ability to follow laboratory safety, confidentiality, and company procedures.
