Salary: $180,551.90-$244,276.10 annually

What you will do

• Lead integrated communications strategies for the Development organization and clinical pipeline portfolio.
• Advise Development senior leadership on executive visibility, organizational communications, business priorities, change initiatives, and issues management.
• Shape scientific narratives and communications across the clinical development lifecycle, including regulatory and corporate milestones.
• Translate complex science into clear communications that demonstrate innovation, clinical leadership, and patient impact.
• Coordinate messaging across Research, Global Medical, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Investor Relations, and Product and Portfolio Communications.
• Lead and develop a high-performing communications team while managing agencies and external resources.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years of communications or public relations experience, or a master’s degree and 7 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience.
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a related scientific industry, with knowledge of drug development and the clinical development lifecycle.
• Experience leading strategic communications for complex scientific, regulatory, or business initiatives in a matrixed organization.
• Strong scientific communications, writing, storytelling, presentation, and executive communications skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, manage ambiguity, handle multiple high-priority initiatives, and align communications with enterprise objectives.
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships and leading, coaching, and developing communications professionals.
