Executive Director, Corporate Communications (Biopharma)

Location: Philadelphia, PA; for US-based candidates only

Base salary: $256,000–$384,000 per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and execute an integrated global corporate communications strategy aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Advise the C-suite and senior executives on complex messaging, issues management, reputation, and executive visibility.
• Lead employee communications, internal engagement, and change-management communications for initiatives such as M&A, restructuring, and digital transformation.
• Steward the corporate brand, narrative, employer brand, public disclosures, and communications across global touchpoints.
• Build relationships with top-tier and trade media, manage press inquiries, and develop thought-leadership opportunities.
• Recruit and lead the communications team, manage external agencies, and measure program impact.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive communications experience with significant leadership experience in biopharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.
• Experience building integrated communications programs covering employee communications, corporate brand, and digital strategy.
• Proven experience advising C-suite executives and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Deep experience managing communications during M&A, crises, organizational change, and business transformation in a public company.
• Experience building high-performing teams and managing external agency partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, or a related field required; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
