Scientist - LC-MS/MS Bioanalytical

What you will do

• Design, develop, validate, and implement quantitative LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods for small molecules and metabolites.
• Perform bioanalysis of discovery, GLP preclinical, and regulated clinical samples from plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, tissues, and other matrices.
• Prepare biological samples using protein precipitation, solid-phase extraction, and liquid-liquid extraction.
• Review and interpret scientific data, prepare study reports and regulatory-compliant documentation, and maintain accurate records in LIMS and electronic laboratory notebooks.
• Communicate results to discovery and development teams, contribute to publications and regulatory submissions, and present at scientific meetings.
• Support automation, method transfers to external contract laboratories, laboratory operations, safety compliance, and multidisciplinary project work.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral experience; or a master's degree with 3 years of LC-MS/MS bioanalytical experience; or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in quantitative mass spectrometry using triple quadrupole platforms.
• Experience analyzing small molecules and metabolites in diverse biological matrices using techniques such as SPE and LLE.
• Experience with GLP/GCP, regulated assay execution, method transfer, pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic principles, and bioanalytical documentation.
• Ability to resolve scientific challenges, manage multiple projects, meet timelines, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supervisory or mentoring experience in a laboratory setting and willingness to work in a high-workload, multi-project environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with peptide and protein quantitation using hybrid LC-MS/MS and affinity capture techniques.
• Experience with automation or micro-sampling technologies that accelerate bioanalysis.
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies.
