What you will do

• Design, execute, troubleshoot, analyze, and interpret biopharmaceutics experiments for small molecules and peptides.
• Assess solubility, dissolution, permeability, stability, aggregation, precipitation, and formulation performance.
• Generate high-quality experimental data and maintain complete documentation.
• Summarize findings and communicate data-driven recommendations to project teams and functional stakeholders.
• Support the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of laboratory methods and workflows.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on developability, drug delivery, and product performance decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with typically five years of pharmaceutical or related industry experience, or a master’s degree or equivalent with typically two years of experience.
• Educational background in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical engineering, chemical or biomedical engineering, chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of drug absorption, solubility, biorelevant dissolution, permeability, ex vivo permeability, and peptide aggregation.
• Laboratory experience with in vitro assays and analytical techniques such as chromatography, dissolution, X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, microscopy, and biophysical characterization.
• Knowledge of preclinical and clinical formulation development for chemically synthesized molecules.
• Strong data analysis, communication, self-management, organization, and attention to detail.
