Business Lead AI Engineer

Location: On-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Salary: EUR 3,200–6,300 gross per month; final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Advise stakeholders and client representatives on AI adoption and measurable business value.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions, translating business challenges into AI initiatives and delivery roadmaps.
• Define AI and Generative AI solution architectures and recommend technologies, frameworks, and cloud platforms.
• Lead AI engineers, ML engineers, and data specialists while reviewing technical designs and architecture decisions.
• Guide model development, deployment, and operationalization for production-grade AI and GenAI systems.
• Drive responsible AI, governance, risk mitigation, scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or AI-related roles.
• 3+ years in a leadership position managing technical teams and client interactions.
• Proven experience delivering production AI/ML solutions, including LLM-based systems and modern AI ecosystems.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI APIs, Azure AI Services, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Experience with AI copilots, intelligent assistants, enterprise search, recommendation systems, or NLP solutions, plus at least one major cloud platform.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher and willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Solution Architect, AI Architect, or Principal Engineer.
• AI consulting, Responsible AI, governance, MLOps, data platforms, or modern analytics experience.
• Experience with regulated industries, agent-based systems, autonomous AI workflows, or multi-agent architecture.
• AI-related certifications from Microsoft, AWS, Google, or equivalent vendors.
